About the Artist

Tamim Etemadi's versatile work includes canvas, paper and oil painting, and interior design.

Tamim studied at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, where he developed a unique style, blending his native Afghan motives with Italian and Spanish abstract art. Tamim's works have been featured in numerous exhibitions throughout US and Europe.

After completing his studies, Tamim returned to Afghanistan where he joined the Kabul University as a Professor of Fine Arts.

Since 1980 Tamim is a Virginia resident. His work is on display at various corporations and is valued by art lovers and collectors.
